We want every couple to be able to browse our work and reach us, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings.
What we are aiming for
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most commonly referenced in the United States, including under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What we have done
Every photograph in our portfolio carries descriptive alternative text naming the couple, the venue where known, and the florals shown, so the galleries are meaningful when read aloud rather than announced as unlabeled images.
The site uses real heading structure and landmarks so it can be navigated by section. Form fields have visible labels and required fields are marked in text, not by colour alone. Colour is never the only way we convey meaning.
Animations, including the decorative motion on our homepage, are disabled automatically for visitors whose device requests reduced motion. Text can be enlarged by browser zoom without content being lost or overlapping. The site is usable by keyboard alone.
Where we know we fall short
We would rather tell you than claim perfection. Some older gallery photographs came from third-party photographers and carry less detailed descriptions than our recent work. The video embedded on our homepage is hosted by YouTube and its captioning is controlled there rather than by us. We are working through both.
Tell us if something blocks you
If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please contact us. We will help directly and fix the underlying problem. We aim to respond within two business days, and we will always take your enquiry by phone if the form is a barrier.
